What is Capacity Building in the NGO context?

Capacity building refers to the process of developing and strengthening the skills, knowledge, tools, and resources that individuals, organizations, and communities need to address challenges and achieve sustainable development goals. At DRC, this means empowering our staff, local partners, and communities with the expertise and confidence to implement impactful humanitarian initiatives.

What is Digital Literacy?

Digital literacy is the ability to effectively and responsibly use digital tools, platforms, and resources for communication, learning, and problem-solving. In the humanitarian context, digital literacy enables staff and stakeholders to leverage technology to enhance program delivery, improve collaboration, and ensure access to critical information in times of crisis.

How can I use DRC University to publish a course I already created or to create a new one?

To publish an existing course or create a new one on DRC University: You need access to the DRC University platform using your credentials. Contact Fabio at fabio.brito@drc.ngo to request course publication rights. You will have to complete an online training course before publishing a course.

I would like to create a partnership with DRC University. What should I do?

We welcome partnerships that align with our mission to empower communities through learning. If you are interested in collaborating with DRC University: Send a proposal to our Partnerships Team at fabio.brito@drc.ngo .
